New Primary Healthcare Hours at the Native Youth Health & Wellness Centre

We’re happy to announce new hours from February to April for primary healthcare here at UNYA’s Native Youth Health and Wellness Centre.
We are thrilled to have Doctor Hall joining us at our health clinic while our Nurse Practitioner Sarah is away during February and March.
Doctor Hall will be available for drop-ins or appointments Wednesdays, 2 pm to 5 pm, February to April, 2019.

Doctor Hall will be seeing patients on Wednesdays, from 2 pm to 5 pm. You can drop in the clinic during these times to see her, or make an appointment by calling the Native Youth Health and Wellness Centre at (604) 253-5885.
Doctor Hall will be able to help with any health related issues, including:
• regular health checkups
• diagnosis and treatment of health conditions, illness, and injury
• order and interpret tests
• prescribe medication
• make referrals
• coordinate care with other healthcare providers

Services at the Native Youth Health and Wellness Centre include:
• Nurse Practitioner or Doctor, providing primary healthcare;
• Midwives, providing care for you and your child throughout pregnancy (prenata, birth, and postpartum);
• Counsellors, providing mental health support;
• Elder Bruce Robinson, providing personal, cultural, and spiritual support.
You can ask questions, make an appointment, get info on other resources in the community, or just stop by to get comfortable with the space. If you want to come by with a family member, friend, or support worker, they are more than welcome to come with you.
