WILD.ECO Wilderness Camp and Mentorship Opportunity

Apply now for an incredible leadership and mentorship opportunity through the WILD.ECO program!

 

UNYA has partnered with WILD.ECO  for an opportunity for Indigenous youth to participate in a month-long wilderness camp in the summer of 2019, along with ongoing mentorship from professional explorer, storyteller, and photographer Daniel Fox.

 

Applications are open to Indigenous youth who are:

 

• at least 17 years old as of summer 2019

• interested in participating in a month-long wilderness leadership adventure

This opportunity includes:

 

A month-long wilderness leadership trip with NOLS global wilderness school in the summer of 2019. One youth applicant will be selected to attend a NOLS Yukon Mountaineering and Whitewater Canoeing* trip in the summer of 2019.

 

Scholarship to cover tuition and travel costs for the camp.

 

Sponsored gear and clothing for the expedition.

 

Ongoing mentorship from Daniel Fox, professional explorer, storyteller, and photographer. Fox provides support, guidance, resources and the proper tools, both before and after your trip, to enable you to continue exploring.
