Many Generations. One Message:
Every Child Matters.
UNYA extends our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our 2025 Edition Orange Shirt Day T-shirt campaign.
We are deeply grateful to all who purchased a shirt, the community members who generously shared their time in our intergenerational photo shoot, and the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly at community events and through merchandise sales. Your support carries this important message forward and strengthens our collective commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.
This year, our Orange Shirt Day campaign honours the intergenerational strength of Indigenous families. The scars of residential schools ripple across time—but so does the healing, the language, the laughter, and the love we pass from one generation to the next.
At the Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA), we work every day to make that healing possible—empowering Indigenous youth through culture, connection, and opportunities that help them thrive.
By wearing your orange shirt, you are standing with survivors, their children, and their grandchildren. You are saying, “Every Child Matters”—past, present, and future.
Join us. Wear orange. Share the story. Help change the future.
