Who We Are & What We Do
Our Aboriginal Youth Worker connects with Indigenous youth ages 12 to 24 who may not yet be involved with UNYA. They offer one-on-one support, outreach, and cultural connections to help you feel seen, valued, and empowered.
What We Offer
- Weekly cooking programs and cultural activities with Elders
- Drum groups and music circles
- Advocacy, crisis support, and outreach at schools and events
- Referrals and connections to other UNYA programs
Our Approach
Rooted in the teachings of the Medicine Wheel and Circle of Courage, our Youth Worker provides a safe, culturally grounded space where you can connect to community, heal, and grow at your own pace.
How to Get Involved
This program is drop-in and youth can self-refer.
