Now Hiring: Project Assistant for Native Youth Centre

UNYA is planning an innovative regional hub for Indigenous youth in Metro Vancouver, and we are looking for an experienced, self-motivated project assistant to help us bring this vision to life.

 

The Project Assistant will support our Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors in realizing the Native Youth Centre, by supporting the planning, implementation, coordination, tracking, and evaluation of activities related to the project.

Our vision is for a 50,000-square-foot Indigenous youth hub in the heart of Vancouver's urban Indigenous community.

The Native Youth Centre will be the first facility of its kind in North America – a purpose-built, regional hub, where Indigenous youth access the resources, programs, and services that will help them reach their fullest potential.

 

This will be a place where Indigenous youth can meaningfully engage with their community, feel a positive sense of belonging, build confidence, and develop their life, leadership and employment skills. Read more about our vision for the Native Youth Centre here.
